I have a love hate relationship with the whole hipster thing. I wear american apparel hoodies and undies. I wear Levi's 511's. I have converse with black laces. I cry a lot. I had a mustache. I wear ray ban prescription glasses. and most embarrassingly, i ride a fixed gear. a gold one with purple wheels and i like it.

but every time i see some queefy dude with wearing his girlfriends pants (along with her boots and blouse)i barf a little in my mouth and think to myself "do you need a hug or something? do you want me to teach you how to shave? did you listen to too much animal collective?"

i have been accused of being a hipster on more than one occasion, and i would agree that outwardly, i appear to have my finger on the pulse of a scene that i dont really understand, and dont really support. im all over the road.

I love San Diego, but do we have a van that goes around to the parts of the city which are underserved by public transit(which is everywhere in san diego) giving people rides? Brooklyn does. Oh yeah there is one catch to it, you have to listen to the guy rapping in the backseat. The woman in the purple seeems to be enoying it.

It's called Cycle Chic and it's claim is that it's a bicycle bog from the world's bicycle capital. Really fun blog filled with pictures and stories. Great motivation to enjoy a nice spring day on 2 wheels.
