BUDDHA MACHINE!

I've had a bit of a crap day. I'm prone to getting a bit down or overwhelmed or anxious. But you know what would make it all better? A BUDDHA MACHINE! I think this thing is pretty rad. Its a crap plastic box with a crap plastic speaker. When you turn it on, it starts playing one of nine ambient loops to try and mellow you WAY out. you can hear some of the loops here.

So I wish I could post more than just a link but this will have to do. I've read and heard about silly things on Google Earth and Google maps, like some guy proposing, or people's faces or cars seen in places they weren't supposed to be. I think at least even one case of women flashing the Google camera-car. But this, is awesome. First, is that a SNIPER rifle? and Second, was the driver not paying attention or just too committed to the task of driving and taking pictures?

Animals get Faded Too

I have an incredible, suffocating amount of work to do. Im working with a 60 year old(?) def Iranian that smells like pepper and halitosis. Hes a nice guy, is a great illustrator and has absolutely no concept of how a computer works, and zero ability to make up his mind. So now im hanging out on the internet learning about how animals get drunk and stuff. so check it out. have a good read.

Battle Kittens Updated!

I've been trying to put a building into a site-plan since about 1:00 p.m. its not happening. i looked at some pictures of A-C130 jets blowing stuff up, i've been doing research for valentines day brunch and i have been thinking about the poor parrot i saw get hit by a car at lunch. my friend kevin and i pulled over and he picked it up off the side of the road. it was still alive, but just barely. it was raining and the poor guy was bleeding out of its eye. we put it in a crown royal bag and took it out of the rain. hope he feels better. poor guy.

I voiced my distress to my coworker and he sent me the image. So here it is folks. Wylies Dad. Uncle Randy doesnt really have face tattoos. I was talking to him one time, and he told me that he had considered it at some point, but Aunty told him that she would leave him if he went ahead with it. Good call uncle Randy.

So this first thing I got in my work E Mail was a super gnarly picture of a Maori that reminded me of my friend Wylies Dad. I spent a good twenty minutes trying to figure out how to extract that from my work email and plug it into this thing. Then I tried to figure out how and why I still needed to pay off my student loans. So there you have it. Thats where i am and thats why im looking at pictures of kittens.

John Zappas jumped all over this and sent me some real winners, which I'll post over the next few days. I have to say, it feels pretty good to know that I'm not the only guy out here killing time looking at weird stuff.

This Cat Knows How to Party

I find that I spend a lot of time looking for pictures of puppies or kittens.
My friend Hann went to Japan and sent me some of the photos from his trip. I decided that it would be pretty cool if I photoshopped Godzilla into one of the pictures. That being said, I spent a good 45 minutes looking for pictures of Godzilla. I came across this gem, realized that I had found the Holy Grail of the day, called it quits, then got back to work.

Q: Why Am I Doing This?

A: I dont know.

I am kind of an architect. I'm not really an architect because I'm not licensed yet. But for all intent and purpose, I'm an architect. I spend a lot of time on the computer, drafting, sending emails, drawing pictures of weird buildings, and yes, spending a bunch of time dinking around on the internet.

I have come across some pretty rad/ terrifying/ wierd stuff, and upon the recommendation of my new neighbor and temporary roommate, I'm starting a blog in order to share it with you.
